Nkanyiso Mashiteng from Hoërskool Secunda was crowned SA Champion.
Nkanyiso Mashiteng won the 400m for boys under 16 at the South African Championships in Paarl.
His couch, Mike van der Walt, said “I am very proud of Nkanyiso,”
The winning time was 50.63 seconds for the 400m. Nkanyiso ran the outside lane and never really knew where his opponents were and could only see them as they entered the final straight but by then he was ahead and kept on pushing.
