The Director of Civil Engineering led a technical team to conduct a thorough inspection of the water distribution system. The results of the investigation confirmed that no valves had been closed intentionally and that there had been no deliberate disruption to the water supply. Residents are reminded that the first notice regarding potential water supply changes was posted on the Bulletin in May, allowing ample time for awareness and preparation. Contrary to claims made by certain organizations, the Mayor did not merely issue a two-day notice. The assessment also established that water pressure is gradually recovering, with some residents in higher-lying areas still experiencing reduced pressure as the system stabilizes.
