Bethal SPCA hosts sterilisation day with state veterinarian Dr Franciosné Nortjé
Thursday 9 September was a hive of activity as pet owners flocked to the Bethal SPCA premises to have their animals sterilised.
9 Veterinarians and Trainee vets participated in the day.
The day was organised to help those that cannot afford to go to a normal vet. The pet owners had to book their animals and had to follow a process to show that they cannot afford normal sterilisations at a vet.
People could make donations if they chose to do so.
31 animals were sterilised.
Why do you need to sterilise your pet?
