Two rock falls on N4 Toll Road cause delays
Motorists are advised that the N4 Schoemanskloof Road is currently closed due to rock falls.
Another rock falls took place on the N4 Ngodwana Road near Elandsvalley towards Waterval Boven. This led to the road being partially closed.
According to Ms Solange Soares, N4 TRAC Spokesperson, the recovery teams have been hard at work since last night to ensure that the road is fully opened as soon as possible.
Soares is further advising motorists who intend to travel between Machadodorp and Mbombela via the Ngodwana Road to expect delays as there is a stop-and-go.
She advised motorists also to delay their journeys wherever possible to allow the recovery to be completed, to minimise traffic congestion.
Meanwhile, the R40 Road between White River and Hazyview is partially opened, and stop-and-go is in place. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays.
