Three people killed in accident on N2 Road near Mkhondo
A head on collision that occurred this afternoon around 15h00 on N2 Road between Ermelo land Mkhondo,has claimed the lives of three people. The collision occurred between an articulated truck and a sedan.
The deceased were all passengers in the sedan. The driver of the sedan and another passenger sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby Piet Retief Hospital.
The driver of the truck got away with slight injuries.

It is not yet clear as to what caused the crash. The police are investigating cases of culpable homicide.
The road had to be opened on one lane to enable the emergency personnel and the law enforcement agencies to work on the scene.
