NELSPRUIT – A 17-year-old boy is soon expected to appear before the Acornhoek Magistrate’s Court on allegations that he stabbed his 52-year-old uncle to death. This shocking incident is said to have occurred yesterday, Monday 21 June 2021, at Ratanang Village in Casteel near Bushbuckridge.

According to the report, the teenager was at home when his uncle, who lived with him as his guardian, arrived. The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General Thulani Phahla has strongly denounced the incident. ” It is unfortunate that violence has become an accepted norm of resolving matters in our society and this often results in unbearable circumstances. This situation needs to be urgently corrected by all walks of life, ” commented General Phahla.
