SANTACO South Africa has released a statement stating that taxis will operate fully from tomorrow, 30 March, to Friday, 3 April. This is to accommodate grant beneficiaries across the country.
During the Nationwide Lockdown, taxis would operate only from 05h00 – 09h00 in the morning and 16h00 – 20h00 in the evening but since it is month end, taxis will be available throughout the day.
This was confirmed by a statement released by the Department of Transport South Africa.
