Broad scope of work:
To provide (a) innovative design solutions for temporary works enabling clients to apply Layher products efficiently and safely, (b) comprehensive technical support and (c) ensure compliance of products and applications with the relative standards with minimal supervision.
| Key duties and Responsibilities | • | Prepare scaffold, falsework, event and protective systems designs, CAD drawings and list of required components from site surveys, drawings and tender documentation. |
| • | Verification of designs in accordance with client requirements and the relative standards. | |
| • | Provide after-sales support to clients | |
| • | Design solutions using Layher products, relevant standards, and technical product data. | |
| • | Establish close cooperation with and train clients and their local engineers in regards to product and application knowledge. | |
| • | Site visits to advise clients on Layher solutions and resolve problems in the field. | |
| • | Technical support to sales personnel including designs, design verification, technical product information and assistance with completion of tender documentation. |
| Performance measures | Accurate and timely production of designs to prospective and existing clients. |
| Minimum qualification and work experience | BTech/BEng Civil Engineering 1 – 3 years of experience Proficient in CAD design software Structures and steel experience will be advantageous Good verbal and written communication skills |
