Bethal Fun Fest gave back to 5 charities after a successful festival

The Bethal Fun Fest was a huge success. Well done to the organisers. This sentiment was echoed by everyone that visited the Bethal Fun Fest.

The cold weather of the Friday played a little with the attendance figures but approximately 5000 people visited the Festival over the two days.

25 Sponsors made sure that the festival could go ahead and a big thumbs-up for them. What is such an event without stalls? There were 70 stalls in total that offered a variety of goods to festies. From food to toys, handmade items to clothing, jewellery to sweets, shoes, Animal feeds, motor accessories and lots more!

Entertainment was by Pieter Koen, Piet Pompies & Band; Ampie; Anton Botha & DJ Kallie and other activities included 4×4 Track; Mountain Bike Track; Helicopter Flips; Paintball; Car Show & Shine; Merry-Go-Round; Beer Tent & Golf.

The Bethal Fun Fest were able to give each of the following charities R25000 each

  • Residentia Palm Oord
  • SAVF Silwerjare
  • Bethal SPCA
  • Bethal CPF
  • Bethal Feedingscheme (soup kitchen)

Bethal Golf club received a 10 000lt Eco Water Tank to ensure that water will not be in short supply at next year’s event.

The Bethal Fun Fest will surely grow in future and promises to dominate the Mpumalanga calendar in future years.
