500ml Koekmeel
2 Jumbo eiers
125ml Margarien
5ml Bakpoeier
125ml Gekapte neute
375ml Melk
325ml Suiker
5ml Vanieljegeursel
250ml Fyn Papaja
2ml Sout
Metode

  1. Sif droë bestandele saam.
  2. Meng Margarien tot baie sag.
  3. Voeg gesifte droë bestandele saam.
  4. Voeg nou Papaja en 175ml melk by sodat mengsel klam is
  5. Meng vinnig met houtlepel
  6. Voeg eiers, geursel en res van melk by asook neute.
  7. Gooi in ringpan wat goed gesmeer is met botter
  8. Bak vir 35 – 45 minute op
    180 °C
  9. Terwyl koek bak maak die sous.
    Kook die volgende saam tot stroop:
    250ml water
    250ml suiker
    250ml papaja pulp
    25ml botter.
    Gooi warm oor warm koek wat uit oond kom en laat goed afkoel.
    Keer dan uit en strooi versiersuiker oor.
