Sasol Cycling Club hosted a Lords and Ladies Charity ride in aid of Janelle Huis in Evander. This was as part of their community involvement project for the year.
The format of the event was a safari picnic on bicycles through the green area in Secunda. All this while being dressed in High Tea styled clothing with a cycling helmet. There were a number of picnics arranged on the course with cakes and scones on offer.
Some of the cyclists were over dressed for the occasion but they fit the theme perfectly. The event will surely become one to diarise as one of the fun events on the cycling calendar.
