    Man murdered in eMbalenhle

    Incidents, like this one, continue to grow in and around eMbalenhle.

    Residents of eMbalenhle woke up to shocking news when a passer-by saw a man lying in a pool of blood on a gravel road near the water tanks in extension 15. The passer-by called the neighbours to come and look at the gruesome scene.
    The police and the ambulance were called. They arrived and declared the man dead on the scene. At this time, the identity of the man cannot be revealed.
    The incident of this brutal killing appears to have happened on Monday night, 30 September as he was only discovered on Tuesday morning, 1 October.
    The police opened an inquest docket and other details are still being confirmed by the Pathology and Forensics team. Incidents, like this one, continue to grow in and around eMbalenhle.
    When The Bulletin was on the scene, community members were standing in groups blaming the gang groups in the area and said that they are behind these continuous and senseless killings.
    The boyfriend appeared in court but was denied bail. He remains in custody and will appear in court again later in October. – Sandile Mkhwanazi
