Even though wine was the main attraction at the event, the Gin and Tequila stall had a constant row of customers

This past weekend, the 5th Wyn Inni Tyn took place at Boesies, Lake Umuzi.
From early Saturday morning, local artists stationed themselves all over Boesies to find the perfect area for them to paint a masterpiece.
Wyn Inni Tyn attendees could browse the art whilst they were still being painted. Wine glass in hand, people tasted all the different wines from an array of wine estates. Even though wine was the main attraction at the event, the Gin and Tequila stall had a constant row of customers. Later that afternoon an auction was held where the newly painted artworks and other sponsored products were auctioned. An astonishing R 20 000 was raised for the SPCA and will be handed over on Tuesday, 27 August by The Bulletin and Lake Umuzi.
The party continued with music by “Shared Address” that had people dancing and singing until well into the night.
Lake Umuzi would like to thank everyone that attended, for yet another successful event. Next on the social calendar will be Lake Umuzi Oktoberfest to be held at Eish!! South African Kitchen from 20 to 29 September.
Keep an eye on Lake Umuzi’s Facebook page and The Bulletin for more information.
