    Sasol 1 cricket fell short at the final hurdle

    Unfortunately, our batting was not on par with Siya Mahima being the top scorer with 31 runs.

    Unfortunately, Sasol 1 fell short at the final hurdle. Sasol 1 lost to Nelspruit in the 50 overs Mpumalanga Premier League with 52 Runs. Sasol had a good day on the field restricting Nelspruit to 169 all out. Ignus Koekemoer took 2 wickets for 22 runs in 10 overs. Siya Mahima took 5 for 20 runs in 8.3 overs. Unfortunately, our batting was not on par with Siya Mahima being the top scorer with 31 runs. It wraps up what has been a successful season for Sasol Cricket Club. Sasol 1 – Winners of Gert Sibande 50 overs and T20 Premier League competitions, Mpumalanga T20 Premier League champions and Mpumalanga Premier League 50 overs runner up. Sasol 2 ended 3rd in the Gert Sibande premier league.
    Sasol 3 ended second in the Gert Sibande 50 over promotion league.
    Sasol 1st Women team won the first ever Gert Sibande women’s title.
    Practice for the junior levels will start next week Tuesday. – Ignus Koekemoer
