Zama Zama’s denied bail!

Forget Mwatutsa (28), Forward Kavunga (23) Orbet Nyaora(29) and Arming Mcucune(32) were denied bail by Ogies Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 9 March, for illegal processing of gold
The three suspects were arrested by Members of Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation unit Middelburg, Secunda and South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB) on Thursday, 8 March, during an operation conducted at a farm in Ogies area. Mwatutsa, Kavunga, and Mcucune were found at the farm working and they alleged that they were employed by Nyaora.
Nyaora was phoned and upon arrival at the farm he tried to bribe the police with R6 000.00 and he was immediately arrested. Following a search at the farm, gold-bearing material estimated to the value of R400 000.00 and a vehicle were seized.
The four suspects were remanded in custody and they are expected to appear again at the same court on the 16th March 2018 for verification of addresses and further investigation.

Conspiracy to commit Murder

Two suspects aged (41) female and (55) years old male were arrested by members of the Hawks Mpumalanga on Monday morning (12 March) for Conspiracy to Murder. The suspects have been taken to Nelspruit Magistrate the same day. Further details were not available at the time of writing this article.
