    Kedibone launches campaign

Kedibone Jozana, a local entrepreneur and socialite and managing director of Kedijo224 (PTY) LTD, has launched the Confidence Campaign with the aim to inspire young boys and girls with low self-esteem issues.
The idea was born out of seeing the need to give back to the underprivileged learners from Sizwakele Secondary School in eMbalenhle where Kedibone had once also been a pupil.
“I hope this campaign will afford all learners from disadvantaged backgrounds chance to build and instil self-confidence by constantly reminding them that their circumstances should not determine or define who they become,” says Kedibone.
Paulinah Maluleke, ateacher at Sizwakele Secondary School, are helping Kedibone identify learners that are in need and those that will benefit the most from this initiative.
The Confidence Campaign will supply children in need with things many people take for granted, such as sanitary pads, school shoes, school uniforms, stationery and matric farewell outfits for the top male and female achiever in Grade 12.
“The Confidence Campaign is not going to be a once off initiative.
“We are not just going to hand out donations and contribution to the needy, but we also want to look into their family backgrounds , the impoverish situations at their homes and assist where possible,” said Kedibone.
Although the initial focus is on kids from Sizwakele, Kedibone’s goal is reach out to as many schools as possible in the Govan Mbeki municipal area.
“In the long run we’re hoping to expand and support other schools in the district and ultimately the whole of Mpumalanga.
