    College students graduate

    Gert Sibande TVET College Campuses (Sibanesetfu, Evander, Ermelo and Standerton) held their NCV graduation ceremonies on 5 August for a total of 662 students who started their 3 year journey in 2013.
    The 662 NCV graduates are an indication of the massive growth of the TVET sector.
    This is a massive growth compared to the 625 that graduated in 2015.
    Evander Campus NCV graduation ceremony took place at Kruik Hall in Secunda where a total of 127 students graduated.
    The college CEO, Mr Nick Balkrishen shared a presentation with parents and guests.
    The presentation highlighted all the amazing achievements of the college ranging from the enrolment targets to the NCV results, ICT conference hosted by e-learning as well as the role the college plays within the community.
    The CEO also reminded students about the importance of obtaining a certificate.
    “No matter what anyone tells you, today you have reaped the benefits of your hard work.
    “This act will inspire others who are looking up on you,” said the CEO. During the ceremony, ND Khumalo was crowned the campus top achiever (Business Studies).
