There are only 8 days left to wait to be a participant in the “Lake Umuzi – SADFA – “Two Comma Four” also known as Ops. Jagarend.
The utilising of September 24 for this occasion is anchored in Heritage Day, the heritage of the legacy of the soldier.
Those who had paid the ultimate price for the freedom we now enjoy, let there be no oversight that combatants from both sides of the conflict took part in this struggle.
The “Two Comma Four” was part and parcel of the training, the discipline and the fitness achieved during those days.
Reliving this event by staging the walk for the second year the “Lake Umuzi – SADFA – “Two Comma Four.”
This will be a fun walk, some with their K9 friends, some with family and kids, a walk around the peaceful Lake Umuzi.
Starting at the Artisans Square, all along the edge of the lake, towards a turning point where the participant’s skills in “Kettie Skiet” and the throwing of practice grenades will be tested and then returning to the end line.
Each participant that successfully complete the “Two Comma Four” will receive a medal and a certificate.
An event to be enjoyed by all. – Aart Reedijk
