Kristopher Ryan Centre held their Casual Day on Friday with a sing-along and dance and all were treated with delicious Boerewors rolls.
This center is situated in Secunda focuses on being a safe and stimulating area for adults with intellectual challenges.
Mrs. Sharen Wickens told the Bulletin that Sasol donated a substantial quantity of “Casual Day” tickets to the center to sell towards the centers funding.
“The centrum receives R4 in return from Sasol for every ticket sold and as the centrum serves quite many students currently, we are grateful for this donation to assist us with giving these students the best care possible,” said Sharen.
The center has a bakery with two bakers who bake biscuits, which generate needed revenue.
There is a huge requirement for plastic and or paper shopping bags at the bakery, as one of the bakeries cost is the container for packing client’s purchases. – Aart Reedijk
