After three (3) years no one has been arrested in a murder case

The preliminary investigations revealed that the gun which was used belonged to the son of Mr KJ Seopa who also died on the same day.

Monday, 19 August, marks three years after the murder and the police are yet to arrest the suspect/s in the murder case of the late taxi boss from eMbalenhle, extension 9, who was brutally killed together with his son in 2016.
Mr KJ Seopa and Mr M Seopa were shot and killed inside their home in extension 9. The preliminary investigations revealed that the gun which was used belonged to the son of Mr KJ Seopa who also died on the same day. It is believed that he shot his father with 9 bullets before shooting himself, but the post mortem results revealed to the detectives that both men were killed by unknown suspects.
Mr KJ Seopa was working at Sasol Secunda and also owned taxis operating in eMbalenhle until the day of his brutal murder. It was reported that on the day of the shooting they were the only two in the house, as his wife and their surviving children were in Groblersdal, Limpopo, where they own a house.
The entire community of eMbalenhle was shocked to discover the news that Mr Seopa was no more and was killed brutally with 9 bullets. The case was later given to Detective Malope with a special task team who are also yet to make an arrest in the case.
