L to R: Stefan “The Bezerker” Diedericks, Coach Cedric “The Dominator” Doyle, Vince “His Majesty” Nkosi and Paul “Piksteel” Ronge

On Saturday, 2 March, five of Dominator’s Den’s fighters were on the card to fight at Fightstar 38 which took place at John Barrable in Benoni. Paul “Piksteel” Ronge’s Featherweight title fight was cancelled due to medical reasons and Stefan “The Bezerker” Diedericks’ opponent did not show up to fight. This was disappointing to the two fighters but they stood by their fellow Den brothers. The three fighters that fought performed extremely well and firmly stood their ground. Kobus “Koevoet” Kruger unfortunately lost his fight after dominating the whole fight against Johan Horn. “Koevoet” was knocked out by Johan in the first round. Coach Cedric said that that is how the fight game goes. Vince “His Majesty” Nkosi won his fight against Keegan Delafield in the first round. “His Majesty” beat his opponent when he escaped a guillotine choke and put Keegan into a rear naked choke. Smit “Malboer” Steyn won his fight against Pieter Volschenk after three full rounds. “Malboer” rose to victory after a unanimous decision from the judges.
Coach Cedric “The Dominator” Doyle would like to thank the Lord and Saviour for protecting them in yet another big fight night and says that he is super proud of his FIGHTERS. It takes a lot of courage to step into the cage and put it all on the line for everyone to see. The next fight night cards will be announced soon and the fighters will be ready to show their steel again. – Cedric Doyle
