Champion year for Jacobus Le Roux

2018, the year Jacobus Le Roux has claimed 3 more cue sport titles. Hendry Erasmus co-owner of Panda’s Cue Sport said that Jacobus has won over 30 Mpumalanga titles over the past 25 years. From Snooker, 10 Ball, 9 Ball, 8 Ball, Doubles Eight Ball, Eight Ball, Chinese 8 Ball and Blackball titles. Jacobus Le Roux (40) has won 3 titles in the 2018 Season. He won the Snooker Puma Cup by beating Hendry Erasmus (Panda’s) in the final 4-1. He then went on to play in the Chinese 8 Ball Championships. He dominated the event and beat local Mandi Mente (Panda’s) in the final 7-6. Jacobus Le Roux played on the 5 December 2018 in the final of the 9 Ball Puma Cup, again his opponent was Mandi Mente (Panda’s). This time Jacobus Le Roux beat him convincingly 7-2.Hendry Erasmus said: “Panda’s Cue Sport dominated Mpumalanga Cue Sport in 2018, with the type of performances athletes like Jacobus Le Roux and Mandi Mente have accomplished in 2018, we could only expect more titles in 2019.” Hendry said that the new VIP room at the New Panda’s Cue Sport complex will be named after Jacobus Le Roux. Jacobus have spent hours and hours over the years in cue sport and this will be a small token of appreciation “The Jacobus Le Roux VIP Room”. Jacobus represented South Africa at the World Eight Ball Championships over the years and represented TEAM SA at the World Cup of Pool earlier this year. Hendry Erasmus and Timothy Vermeulen will open the doors of the largest cue sport venue in Africa. Hendry said, “the school’s program will benefit the youth of Govan Mbeki and Mpumalanga.” With the launch of a bursary for athletes who participate in the Panda’s Cue Academy program.
