Africa’s biggest, most exciting Mixed Martial Arts promotion, Fightstar, will be hosting an explosive night of action at Graceland Hotel Casino and Country Club in Secunda on Saturday, 20 October.
“It promises to be a night of non-stop action,” said Grant Oliff, Fightstar matchmaker. “14 Fights have been matched and the night promises to be electrifying!” The fight card will be stacked with talented fighters from Dominator’s Den in Secunda, owned and run by pro-MMA athlete Cedric Doyle. The Secunda athletes are very excited to showcase their skills in front of their hometown supporters.
The main event of the evening will be the fight for the lightweight title between Nkosi King and Francois Meyer. Both these fighters are previous winners of Season 1 & 2 of the reality TV show Searching for a Scrap, which is televised on Starsat channel 120. Both are highly skilled and aggressive athletes and the clash promises fireworks in the hex on the night.
The co-main event of the evening promises to be another action-packed bout for the interim Fightstar featherweight title. Secunda’s favourite son, Paul “Piksteel” Ronge, prepares to take on the talented Nathaniel Koumane from House of Tinkerbell in Springs, owned by the legendary pro fighter JP Kruger.
All athletes have been training and come fight night on 20 October, they promise to bring you action, action, and more ACTION!!!
The exciting fight card includes the semi-finalists of Searching for a Scrap Season 3.
