Apart from soccer, Jacob Mtakwende, organiser of the soccer challenge, also teaches the children life skills such as the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse and HIV/Aids.
Jacob also encouraged the children to read more as they received books from a stakeholder in the community.
Jacob thanked Jabu Nekel who sponsored the books and said if there is anyone who wants to sponsor any books, they can contact him.
“They must not just play soccer, they must learn other things as well,” said Jacob.
All children taking part in sports between the ages of 10 and 15 are welcome to attend Jacob’s life skills programme.
