Keolebogile Mokolopo from eMbalenhle won a silver and a bronze medal at the 2017 World Rope Skipping Championships in Florida last week.
Nearly 800 competitors from more than 30 countries took part in the championships.

Sonopo Tshilwane from the Free State, and Mbali Nyundu and Amanda Msongelwa from eMbalenhle, are part of the South African team and also took part in the championships.
This is the second competition in a row where these South African jumpers excelled.

Keolebogile was awarded with a certificate of appreciation for hosting the World Jump Rope Federation competition at the 2017 Arnold Classic, which was a great success in South Africa.
Tshilwane finished fifth in the 30 seconds speed item, Msongelwa finished sixth and Nyundu seventh.
The management of the South African Gymnastics Federation congratulated the team and especially Keo for their outstanding performance.
