It’s Time: Were you there?

More than a million South Africans flocked from all over the country to unite in prayer on the farm Wilde Als near Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Pilgrims were led by Angus Buchan to pray for South Africa and its government, healing and restoration, against murder, rape and racism and against a spirit of fear.
Although there were also prayer meetings held locally, hundreds of residents from Secunda and surrounding towns were counted among the million souls who attended the It’s Time event. Several churches ferried their members to Bloemfontein while numerous other residents made use of several buses sponsored by local business owners.
Here is what some of our locals experienced:
A new nation was born in one day!
Prys die Here.
Gebed is my daaglikse voedsel van nou af.
Ek voel of ek op ‘n wolk loop.
Angie van den Heever: We went there.
It was amazing.
All that I can say is WOW! This day definitely made History.
Sarah-Jane Siebrits: This was absolutely awesome, to hear the echo of people shouting AMEN (so be it! )
I experienced what it might have been like for the Isralites moving from Egypt to the promised land.
My next thought was about Joseph and Mary going to Bethlem to register. We were registered in God’s register.
I was saved at a church confetence in December 1974 in Bloemfontein.
I was so aware of God’s presence and a renewal of my vows with my bridegroom.
I requested God to shut my mouth up, if I do not proclaim or speak positive.
What I noticed and appreciated was that no one used alcohol. No one.
I know that I know that I know that God will bless this land.
I haven’t heard of any accidents, although the cars were bumper to bumper.
At stages the fog was so thick, we could not see the next white stripe on the road and we were still safe.
We serve a good good GOD. God made a way where seemed to be no way. Thank you Jesus what you did on the cross for me.
