Moths remember soldiers

Remembrance Day, November 11 and at 11:00, is an important day and hour.
This specific yearly commemoration is observed all over the world by veterans, families and progenies of those who paid the highest price for freedom.
The “we remember” in Secunda, took place at the Moth’s Mukumbura Shellhole. The parade was attended by members of the Mukumbura Shellhole, the Scottish Regiment from Greylingstad, South African Defense Force Association (Secunda), SAPS, friends and families. This year’s parade was celebrated with the attendance of a choir from Highveld Ridge Primary school and the orchestra from Oosterland High School. Then everyone shared 2 minutes of silence together on the 11th day of the 11th month as the clock chime the 11th minute of the 11th hour.
It is in these two minutes and within its deafening silence, that homage was paid to those that went before.
