Rugby players go to Rhino Week


Three teams comprising rugby players from various high schools on Tuesday departed from Hoërskool Oosterland in Secunda for a five day-long rugby tournament in Vanderbijlpark.
The annual national Rhino Week for Prestige Youth Sport is being held from 5 to 9 July in the Isak Steyl Stadium of the Vaal University of Technology.
The week is hosted for the teams that are not accommodated by the annual Craven week.
These are the U14, U15 and U17 teams.
The kids from this area have been selected for the Highveld Rhino teams. Their coaches are WG Erasmus for the U14’s, Blackie Swart for the U15’s and Cobus van Rooyen for the U17’s.
